Goodbye glasses!
Sunday, August 15, 2010
It's been so long since I didn't have to wear glasses that I keep reaching up to adjust them before I remember that they aren't there. I am so thankful that my Lasik eye surgery went so well and another huge blessing was that I went to my eye doctor yesterday and he said that my vision was the best he's seen in over ten years of post operative visits-isn't God amazing! I think I owe you all a thank you for the prayers as I had the procedure on my eyes. Each of you who prayed are so kind and I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I'll be posting more this week as I have a lot of things to say. =)
The men whom I have seen succeed best in life have always been cheerful and hopeful men, who went about their business with a smile on their faces, and took the changes and chances of this mortal life like men, facing rough and smooth alike as it came.

I'm glad your surgery went well!
That's great the surgery went well! I've had glasses/contacts for almost eight years, and every time my uncle sees me (he's an eye doctor), he asks me if I've had lasik yet :P

Thank God your surgery went well, it must be quite a relief. :) That's is really exciting that you don't need glasses, too. I'm still dealing with them.
Congratulations on not having to wear glasses anymore! I am so glad the surgery went well :)
Blessings,
